Job summary

SAP Fioneer GmbH in Vienna seeks a Senior / Lead SAP Solution Architect – Core Banking to drive transformation programs, design scalable architectures, and guide clients through modernization of core banking platforms.

You will translate complex banking processes into robust SAP-based solutions, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and mentor project teams while maintaining regulatory alignment and business agility.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Business, Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics; MBA or PhD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospects, customers, and sales teams to understand business requirements and transformation challenges in core banking.
• Articulate customer needs and solution approaches clearly.
• Translate banking processes into robust SAP-based solution designs and architectures.
• Lead the design of target architectures and scalable solutions for complex business problems.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and ensure designs align with regulatory guardrails and objectives.
• Advise on modernization, cost efficiency, and long-term competitiveness of SAP Fioneer solutions.
• Drive transformation projects and act as architectural lead for core banking.
