SEA.AI is hiring a Senior QA & Automation Engineer to strengthen our software team in Lisbon. You will design and implement automated QA workflows to ensure safe, reliable software shipped for vessels and marine applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA engineering, test automation, or software quality in a professional setting.
• Hands-on test automation in one or more languages (C++, Python, Java).
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop, embedded systems, or IoT testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess current QA workflow end-to-end and design a scalable strategy.
• Shift quality left and make testability a design consideration from day one.
• Apply risk-based assessment to identify where automation adds the most value.
• Reduce reliance on fully integrated hardware for development and QA.
• Drive automation of pre-release qualification and reduce manual testing.
• Incorporate AI-native approaches to test generation and failure analysis.
