Zusammenfassung

LORIOT AG is seeking a motivated QA professional to join our agile team working on IoT SaaS products. You will conduct testing on real IoT hardware, automate API and frontend tests, and ensure quality across large-scale systems. You will collaborate across engineering and product, understand hardware specs, and help document processes.

Partially remote work is possible and 25 vacation days per year. The role requires a Bachelor in CS, 2+ years QA experience, Linux proficiency, and familiarity

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software QA or related field.
• Passion for IoT, LPWAN technologies and embedded systems.
• Proficiency with Linux command line.
• Good knowledge of Git.
• Experience in test plan creation, automation and quality processes.
• Experience with testing large-scale SaaS products.
• Knowledge of technologies such as Typescript / NodeJS / MongoDB / Redis / Docker.
• Familiarity with communication protocols like MQTT, WebSocket, HTTP.
• Experience with testing tools like Postman / Selenium / Mocha.
• Willingness for partially remote work and team collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Conduct ad-hoc testing with real IoT hardware.
• Understand customer workflows and complex data stream scenarios.
• Investigate and reproduce issues reported by customers.
• Proactively report functional bugs or potential security threats.
• Contribute to the development of an IoT network simulator.
• Contribute to the product with new ideas to improve customer experience.
• Implement API automated tests.
• Implement frontend automated tests.
• Bridge between engineering and product teams.
• Understand hardware and communication protocol specs.
• Contribute to company knowledge base with technical documentation.
