Roche in Vienna is seeking a Senior Backend QA Engineer to strengthen our core backend testing capabilities. You will design, build, and maintain automation for REST APIs, microservices, and data pipelines in a cloud-native stack, collaborating with developers, data engineers, and product teams across India, Austria, and Spain.

This freelance role focuses on reliability, security, and high-quality software in a global healthcare context.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• 6–9 years in software QA, backend systems.
• Experience in API test development and framework design.
• Proficiency in Java and RestAssured/TestNG/JUnit.
• Strong SQL and data validation skills with PostgreSQL.
• AI-powered dev/test tools for test data and scripts.
• Experience with performance testing using JMeter/Gatling/K6.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab).
• Strong English communication.
