Job summary

STARD, an Austrian R&D specialist unit of the Stohl Group, seeks a Senior ICE/HEV Powertrain System Development & Calibration Engineer to lead system development for high-performance vehicles in Vienna region. You will work on ICE and HV electrified powertrains, calibrations, and race-related test activities with a global team.

The position requires a strong background in MATLAB/Simulink, CAN communication, and hands-on dyno testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering or similar qualification.
Experience in motorsport development or high performance automotive development.
Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink tools.
Knowledge of ICE and HV powertrain systems.
Good knowledge of CAN and similar communication bus systems.

Responsibilities

Powertrain system layout, development and component choice.
E/E system development in collaboration with E/E specialists.
Development of control strategies for multiple applications (traction, yaw, hybrid strategies).
Development of control models in Matlab/Simulink and implementation into control units.
