AIT Austrian Institute of Technology invites applications for a BMS and power electronics developer in Vienna. You will join the High Efficiency Power Electronics team, contributing to hardware/software design and integration for battery management systems and EV drive components.

We seek a Masters in Electrical Engineering or Technical Physics, strong hands-on experience, and proficiency in MATLAB, C++, and Python. Excellent English is essential; German is highly preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Masters in Electrical Engineering or Technical Physics is required.
• Profound knowledge in Power Electronics, Electric Drives and Battery Storage Systems.
• Experience in the development of BMS systems and algorithms.
• Several years of work experience in EVs or battery storage is desirable.
• Hands-on mentality and a passion for sustainable technical solutions.

Aufgaben

• Develop and integrate hardware/software for battery management systems and power electronics components.
• Design topology and select components for BMS and traction inverters.
• Simulate energy flow and electrical circuits to optimise efficiency and reliability.
• Program BMS control and SOX algorithms for battery storage operation.
• Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to publications and prototypes.
