Job summary

Red Bull is seeking a Senior Portfolio Professional to strengthen and evolve its portfolio and project management framework. You will bridge strategy, governance, processes, and tools to deliver practical standards and guidance across the organisation.

In this role you will design, document, and embed governance principles, project lifecycles, and decision-making processes while building capability through engaging training and knowledge materials.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in portfolio, program or project management environments.
• Deep expertise in governance, lifecycle models, prioritization and standards.
• Proven ability to design, improve and embed frameworks and templates.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience in developing and delivering training and knowledge materials.

Responsibilities

• Shape, review and improve Red Bull’s portfolio and project management framework and lifecycles.
• Create standards, templates, playbooks and documentation for consistent execution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and end-to-end workflows.

Job Description

FRAMEWORK DEVELOPMENT

In this role, you will shape, review, and continuously improve Red Bull’s portfolio and project management framework, including governance principles, project lifecycles, roles, and decision-making processes.

STANDARDS & GUIDANCE

You will create and maintain practical standards, templates, playbooks, guidelines, and decision-making documentation to support consistent and effective project execution.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL INTEGRATION

You will partner with stakeholders across functions, portfolios, programs, projects, processes, and tools to understand complex dependencies and translate them into clear, coherent end-to-end ways of working.

CAPABILITY BUILDING

You will strengthen portfolio and project management capabilities by designing and delivering engaging training sessions, workshops, onboarding materials, and knowledge-sharing formats.

ADVISORY & STAKEHOLDER ALIGNMENT

As a trusted advisor, you will support portfolio and project stakeholders, facilitate alignment on common standards, and provide senior management with clear, evidence-based recommendations.

ADOPTION & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

You will monitor the application and effectiveness of standards, gather feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and promote their sustainable adoption across Red Bull’s project landscape.

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant experience in portfolio, program, or project management environments, ideally in a global organization.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar.

Fluent in English; German is an advantage.

Deep expertise in portfolio and project governance, lifecycle models, prioritization, and project management standards.

Proven ability to design, improve, document, and embed frameworks, standards, processes, and templates.

Strong tool affinity and the ability to translate standards, methodologies, and governance requirements into practical solutions within the existing tool landscape.

Strong systems thinking and the ability to understand complex cross-functional dependencies and end-to-end connections.

Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in developing and delivering training, workshops, guidance, and knowledge materials.

Strong stakeholder management skills across all functions and seniority levels.

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2,362 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
