Prewave in Austria is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to maintain and extend our web app, collaborating across frontend and backend to deliver high‑quality features.

You will work with Spring, Java/Kotlin, Angular or React, SQL databases (PostgreSQL), and modern cloud and CI/CD tooling; contribute to data exchange and system design; mentored by a dynamic team.

We value proactive problem solving, code quality, and a passion for building sustainable, transparent supply-chain solutions.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience with JVM languages such as Java or Kotlin, preferably Kotlin.
• Extensive experience with SQL databases and PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Angular 2+ or React, CSS/SASS, and Typescript.

Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

As our Senior Fullstack Software Engineer at Prewave, you will:

• Work across full-stack to maintain, develop and extend our web application
• Develop new features and integrate them in our systems to ensure high quality of our platform
• Manage data exchange with other services within our environment
• Gather new ideas on how to make our product better and extend our dynamic team to improve our platform

Must haves

• 3+ years experience with JVM languages as Java or Kotlin (preferably Kotlin)
• Extensive experience with SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Extensive experience in writing complex native SQL queries (preferably PostgreSQL) or JDBC
• Extensive experience and understanding of Spring Framework, its internals and modules, hands‑on experience with Spring boot
• Hands‑on experience with Angular 2+ (or React), CSS/SASS, Typescript

Good to have

• Experience with cloud environments like GCP, AWS or Azure, experience with microservices
• Experience with Github Actions, Docker, Gradle
• Experience with RxJS, Cypress
• Experience with Jooq
• Experience with NoSQL databases

Bonus points for

• Ability to design, test, implement and maintain features on your own with input from our product team and customers in both frontend and backend
• Ability to formulate tasks from feature specifications by our product team or feature requests by our customers
• Algorithmic thinking, ability to optimize big chunks of code
• Being a team player, able to mentor other team members

Competitive Compensation and Benefits

We recognise and reward talent. You'll receive a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and a performance-based bonus. Expect a minimum On‑Target Earning (OTE) of EUR 65,000 gross annually, tailored to your qualifications, experience and the role.
