xista science ventures in Vienna is seeking a Technical Operations Specialist to own the data-oriented, technical side of our platform for enterprise customers from day one. You will translate requirements into technical solutions, manage large data environments and craft custom reports.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in data roles, strong Excel and SQL skills, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly in English. This is a hybrid position with flexible hours in Austria.

Qualifikationen

• Able to translate technical details into simple language for non-technical colleagues and customers.
• Reliable and detail-oriented in handling enterprise-scale data.
• Familiar with or willing to work in a fast-paced scaleup environment.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Hold a valid work permit for Austria.

• Translate customer requirements into technical reality—set up new customer environments and tailor the platform to client needs.
• Handle bulk data updates and large-scale data imports, ensuring data quality across the system.

• Partner with Customer Success to troubleshoot roadblocks and help build automations.

We're an AI-native company giving BMW Group, Hilti and Lufthansa real-time visibility into supply chain risks before they become headlines.

We're looking for a Technical Operations Specialist (f/m/d) who takes ownership of the data-focused, technical side of getting our platform to work for enterprise customers from day one. Someone who uses AI as a default part of how they work - and knows when to trust their own judgment.

• Translate customer requirements into technical reality - setting up new customer environments, tailoring the platform to specific client needs, and optimising existing environments as those needs evolve
• Handle bulk data updates and large-scale data imports, working directly with our databases and keeping data quality high across the system
• Build and maintain custom reporting so that enterprise customers and internal teams get the exact data views they need
• Join customer calls when needed to walk them through a technical topic in clear, simple language, helping them get the most out of the platform
• Partner with the Customer Success team to troubleshoot technical roadblocks, solve unique customer challenges, and help build automations

You are the right fit if you:

1. Bring 2-3 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar data-focused role
2. Have very good Excel skills and tech-savviness, with the ability to work across a range of technologies and online platforms
3. Have working knowledge of SQL and are comfortable working directly with databases
4. Can translate technical details into simple language for non-technical colleagues and customers
5. Are highly reliable and detail-oriented - careful and methodical when working with enterprise-scale data
6. Are familiar with, or willing to work in, a fast-paced scaleup environment
7. Are fluent in English, written and spoken
8. Hold a valid work permit for Austria

Nice to have:

• Scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python
• Fluent German
• Experience in SaaS and digital-solutions companies
• A degree in a quantitative or technical field, e.g. Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Maths or Business Informatics
• Previous experience in a technical support role, procurement, or supply chain environment
