Job summary

NielsenIQ is seeking a Senior Credit Controller to manage cash collection from third parties and collaborate with Order to Cash and operational teams. This fixed-term maternity cover role requires proactive credit control aligned with SLAs and KPIs across NIQ entities.

You will monitor debt, generate relevant reports, and work with commercial teams to recover past-due amounts while maintaining high service standards in a multicultural environment. Hybrid working module supported.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in an international company, preferably within Order to Cash or related area.
• University degree (finance, accounting, business, or related field).
• Fluent in Spanish language and strong Business English knowledge, both verbal and written.
• Functional knowledge of MS Excel, SAP, Sidetrade or other ERP and/or Collection and Dispute Management software.
• The ability to cooperate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Control and reduce third-party debt by proactively managing the trade debtor ledger with monthly targets (DSO, overdue).
• Prepare and distribute reports (debtors balance, cash flow forecast, disputes, bad debt provisions).
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payments and irregularities (disputes).
• Escalate with Revenue Assurance and CS to recover past-due portfolio per internal processes.
• Coordinate with commercial teams to resolve queries and support invoicing adjustments as needed.
• Provide professional customer service regarding collection issues and resolve disputes promptly.
