Job summary

BD in Vienna seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own and deliver complex features on our cloud-based infusion pump portfolio. You will contribute across frontend, backend, and service integration, guiding design decisions and strengthening engineering practices.

You will use C#, .NET, React/TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, with a focus on testable, secure, scalable software that supports healthcare professionals and patients.

Qualifications

• Substantial professional software development experience.
• Strong programming language knowledge (C#, Java, Go, or TypeScript).
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and Docker containers.
• Ability to break down complex engineering problems and evaluate alternatives.
• Experience with unit testing, automated testing, and maintainable software design.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex features across cloud applications.
• Own complex user stories from requirements through deployment.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, and service integration work.
• Lead design discussions and document key decisions and tradeoffs.
• Mentor engineers and perform thorough code reviews.
• Work with Kubernetes and Helm configurations in collaboration with platform teams.
