Zusammenfassung

Qualysoft is seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month data and business transformation initiative based in Vienna. The role is 100% remote with 2 on-site days per month, English project language, and a daily rate of €440–€520. Start ASAP with 100% capacity.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, IT, and data governance to drive requirements, design processes, and support testing and go-live activities.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to support business analysis, process optimization, and documentation.
• Strong background within the financial services industry, such as banking, insurance, or asset management.
• Excellent command of English; German language is a strong asset depending on project needs.

For our client, a well-established and internationally operating company in the financial services sector, Qualysoft is seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Business Analyst to support a strategic data and business transformation initiative.

Your Responsibilities

As a key contributor to the project, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data governance experts to drive successful business and data transformation activities.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
• Serve as the central point of contact between business departments, IT, and data governance teams
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria
• Leverage modern AI tools to enhance requirements engineering, documentation, and business analysis processes
• Design, optimize, and improve business processes with a particular focus on data and master data management
• Support testing activities, data migration efforts, and go-live preparations to ensure successful project delivery

Your Profile

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to support business analysis, process optimization, and documentation
• Strong background within the financial services industry, such as banking, insurance, or asset management
• Excellent command of English (German is considered a strong asset / required, depending on project needs)

Nice to Have

• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data modeling concepts
• Practical experience with leading MDM platforms such as Informatica, SAP MDG, Stibo, Reltio, or Semarchy
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, including BCBS 239 and GDPR
• Experience working in both Agile and traditional project environments
