Job summary

BearingPoint Austria is seeking a leader to drive banking transformation initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams and coordinating with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into implementable solutions. The role spans multiple banking domains, requires deep process and IT landscape knowledge, and offers flexible working options. You will influence proposals and contribute to a growing Banking Transformation practice.

Qualifications

• Facilitate strategic workshops and align senior stakeholders on target processes and solutions.
• Manage delivery quality, resources, budgets, risks and client relationships across Agile and Waterfall programmes.
• Contribute to proposals, account development, mentoring and ongoing development of our Banking Transformation offering.

Lead business transformation in banking!

Would you like to lead business analysis and transformation initiatives that connect strategic objectives, processes and technology? In this role, you guide teams, advise senior stakeholders and help financial institutions translate complex change into implementable solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Lead business-analysis workstreams and transformation programmes across payments, lending, credit, onboarding, KYC, account opening or core banking.

• Guide teams of business analysts, functional consultants and subject-matter experts and create clarity on priorities and outcomes.

• Oversee requirements engineering, functional design, process modelling, testing, business readiness and implementation.

• Facilitate strategic workshops and align senior business and technology stakeholders on target processes and solutions.

• Manage delivery quality, resources, budgets, risks and client relationships across Agile and Waterfall programmes.

• Contribute to proposals, account development, mentoring and the ongoing development of our Banking Transformation offering.

What you bring

• Several years of experience in business analysis, banking transformation and consulting or comparable client-facing roles.

• Strong knowledge of banking business models, products and processes, with depth in at least two relevant banking domains.

• Experience leading teams and complex programmes across requirements, functional design, process transformation and implementation.

• Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and managing delivery, resources, risks and financial performance.

• Knowledge of banking IT landscapes and system integration; experience with regulatory transformation, BPMN or workflow platforms is welcome.

• Inclusive leadership, sound judgement and strong communication skills, together with fluent English; German is an advantage.

Your individual performance and experience are reflected in your compensation. The monthly gross salary for this position starts at EUR 5,000. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we are happy to offer a higher salary.
