Zusammenfassung

Scrambly is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to build and run the data platform behind its commercial operations. You will maintain pipelines turning raw events and advertiser feeds into trusted tables, then use those tables to size opportunities, set thresholds, and inform business decisions.

You will join early in a data team built from scratch, collaborating with the Head of Data, Data Scientists, Backend, and Commercial teams to implement missing components and improve what exists.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI development, or a closely related role, with pipelines running in production.
• Strong SQL and solid analytical data modelling in a layered warehouse design.
• Analytical judgement and ability to translate a commercial question into measurements and recommendations.
• Google Cloud experience: BigQuery, Dataform, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub, IAM.
• Python for data work and familiarity with Git and code review.
• Curiosity and comfort with unfamiliar systems and documenting what you learn.
• Proactive, self-directed, small-team collaboration.
• English at B2+, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Build and model analytical pipelines in Dataform on BigQuery, from sources to production-ready tables.
• Analyze and answer commercial questions with data and set thresholds for decisions.
• Take ownership of established pipelines and keep them running in production.
• Build testing, assertion, and alerting to ensure data trust and catch issues early.
• Raise engineering standards: cost management, performance, and best practices for data.
• Collaborate with Head of Data, Data Scientists, Backend, and commercial teams to scope and deliver.
