Zusammenfassung

Enery is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to extend our Data/ML platform on Snowflake, ingest market and plant data, and build feature pipelines for forecasting and model training. You will own the dbt project and ship production data pipelines with a team delivering monitoring, forecasting and reporting for the fleet.

You will design ingestion pipelines from energy exchanges and data providers, extend data models, and ensure data quality end‑to‑end.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional data‑engineering experience (or equivalent mix of software engineering and analytics).
• Deep, production dbt experience with owning a dbt project and defining standards.
• Strong SQL: read/refactor 200-line models without breaking numbers.
• Proficiency in Python for pipelines and familiarity with a workflow orchestrator.
• Hands‑on with a modern analytics warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
• Understanding data modelling patterns (dimensional, event sourcing).
• Experience integrating third‑party REST or SFTP data APIs in production.
• Hands‑on AWS experience (S3, IAM, Lambda, EventBridge, Secrets, ECS).
• English proficiency; other European languages advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Own our dbt project end‑to‑end: models, tests, snapshots, exposures and macros.
• Design and build ingestion pipelines from external sources into Snowflake (Nord Pool, EPEX, ENTSO‑E, etc.).
• Extend data models supporting monitoring, forecasting and reporting across the fleet.
• Own feature pipelines for forecasting and ML with well‑versioned time series.
• Contribute to the semantic layer to unify company definitions of terms.
• Collaborate with platform team on data layer and read path to product features.
• Ensure data quality and observability: alerts, backfills, incident response.
