Zusammenfassung

SearchApi is seeking a Ruby Engineer (Web Scraping) to join a remote, bootstrapped team building real-time SERP data solutions. You’ll tackle browser automation, CDP internals, anti-bot evasion, and complex concurrency challenges across multiple search engines.

You'll own parsers, integrations, and documentation, collaborating with customers and fellow engineers to ship reliable, scalable scraping infrastructure at global scale.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with browser automation and anti-bot evasion.
• Strong scraping and data extraction capabilities.
• Experience with CDP, TLS fingerprinting, or WebRTC is a plus.
• Ability to debug and optimize concurrency and performance.
• Excellent written communication and documentation.

Aufgaben

• Fix broken parsers under time pressure.
• Add new elements to existing search engines.
• Build and ship new search engine integrations.
• Reverse engineer website protections and anti-bot systems.
• Debug browser automation issues (CDP, fingerprinting, evasion).
• Develop landing pages and admin dashboard features.
