Zusammenfassung

SearchApi is seeking a browser engineer to patch Chromium and Firefox at the C++ source level, maintain our in‑house patched‑browser cloud, and own the fingerprint surface that keeps our automation indistinguishable from a real user on a real machine. You will fix detections at the engine level and drive patches across the stack.

Ideal candidates will have strong C++ skills, experience with browser internals and fingerprinting, and a hacker mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient in large, unfamiliar codebases and build systems.
• Experience shipping or patching browser engines or stealth tooling.
• Understanding of fingerprinting and spoofing at implementation level.

Aufgaben

• Maintain in-house patched-browser cloud and per-OS fingerprint profiles.
• Patch the engine implementations to spoof values at the source level.
• Eliminate CDP leaks and reduce signals that reveal automation.
• Align geolocation, timezone, and locale for consistency.
• Own patches end-to-end from design to verification.
