SearchApi is seeking a senior Ruby on Rails engineer to be the technical backbone of our product. You will own the hardest PRs, raise the bar for the codebase, and eventually reduce the CEO's technical load. This is hands‑on, not a management role, with high trust and fast delivery.

We operate a bootstrapped, profitable team shipping real products to real customers. Remote‑only, async‑first, and focused on scalable search APIs across multiple engines and data sources.

Qualifikationen

• Senior Ruby on Rails experience with production systems.
• Strong knowledge of payments and Stripe integration.
• Fluent written and spoken English; able to work remotely.

Aufgaben

• Own the hardest PRs, ship production code across the product.
• Review peers' PRs and mentor through code reviews.
• Build enterprise features such as billing, authentication, and analytics.
• Focus on API, dashboard, and developer experience improvements.
• Improve performance, security, and architecture over time.
