Job summary

CISC Semiconductor GmbH seeks a HEAD of RISC-V Engineering to own technical and strategic growth of the RISC-V engineering business. The role combines deep technical leadership with entrepreneurial drive to shape a new service portfolio focused on modelling, simulation, and verification of complex RISC-V–based systems.

You will build and lead a team, define technology vision, and engage customers and partners.

Qualifications

MSc or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in semiconductor, SoC, or embedded system development.
Expertise in modelling, simulation, and verification of complex systems.
Deep architectural understanding of processors (RISC-V preferred), HW/SW co-design, and FPGA/ASIC development.
Proven track record of building teams, winning business, and scaling technology-driven offerings.

Responsibilities

Build and lead RISC-V Engineering & Service team, driving strategic growth.
Define and execute technology vision and go-to-market strategy.
Develop new business opportunities and engage customers and strategic partners with high-value services.
Establish and lead methodologies and design services for modelling, simulation, verification and benchmarking.
Drive development of RISC-V based systems (Edge) SoCs with accelerators for automotive and industrial applications.
Guide teams and customers in advanced engineering practices and industry standards.
Contribute to national and European RISC-V initiatives and research projects.
