EMTensor GmbH in Vienna, Austria is seeking an Electronics Engineer to own RF and analog hardware at the board level. You will take concepts through schematic, layout supervision, bring-up, measurement and documentation for a medical product.

This hands-on role requires selecting parts, briefing the PCB designer, and working at the bench with a VNA and spectrum analyzer to ensure high-quality, phase-coherent multi-channel performance across the array.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in electronics, RF/microwave or related field with 7+ years RF/ analog board design.
• Proven RF front-end design in 0.5-3 GHz with LNA, mixer, filter and switching.
• Experience selecting and designing 16-24 bit ADCs/DACs with performance justification.
• Designs for fractional-N PLLs, VCOs and clock distribution with channel stability.
• Experience deploying external LO on transceivers (AD9361/9363/9371/ ADRV9009 or equivalent).
• PCB layout ownership: briefing designers, controlled impedance, stack-up, DFM.
• Schematic capture in Altium/Cadence; hands-on lab measurement with VNA/spectrum analyzer.

Aufgaben

• Design RF and analog receive/transmit boards 0.5-3 GHz: LNAs, mixers, filters, switching.
• Front-end electronics at each antenna element: amplification, shielding, isolation.
• Select and justify high-resolution ADCs/DACs and integrate them on boards.
• Develop clocking: fractional-N synthesizers, PLLs, VCOs, reference distribution.
• Characterize and phase-synchronize multi-channel transceivers from an external LO.
• Simulate with Keysight ADS/AWR and HFSS/CST; capture schematics and review layouts.
• Prepare boards for EMI/EMC testing and fix issues from test houses.
• Document BOMs, design files, and coordinate with contract manufacturers.
