• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Renewable Energy/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and performance data; proficiency in engineering software.
• Understanding of grid integration, energy yield assessment, and applicable standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; safety and quality focus.
• Effective on-site teamwork and communication.
• Proficiency in English; German advantageous.

Role Description

The Renewable Energy Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in St Pölten. This role involves engineering design, technical assessment, and optimization of wind and solar energy projects, including feasibility studies, performance calculations, and layout planning. The Renewable Energy Engineer collaborates with project managers, construction teams, and external partners to ensure projects meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include reviewing technical documentation, supporting procurement and installation activities, monitoring plant performance, and proposing improvements to maximize efficiency and reliability. The role also includes participation in site assessments, contributing to technical due diligence, and providing ongoing support for operations and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Wind Energy and the broader Energy Industry.
• Strong knowledge of Solar Power and Solar Energy technologies and their applications.
• Experience working with integrated Renewable Energy Systems, combining wind and solar solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and performance data, with proficiency in relevant engineering and simulation software.
• Understanding of grid integration, energy yield assessment, and applicable industry standards and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work in an on-site environment.
