Qualifikationen

• 6–10 years of infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Experience owning a significant product or subsystem from design to production.
• Hands-on infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, containers, Kubernetes/EKS, and distributed systems.
• Strong programming in Go or Python.
• Experience operating Redis or ElastiCache in production.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: version control, reviews, testing.
• High ownership and autonomy.
• Strong communication skills to explain decisions and align stakeholders.
• Strong written/spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Own a core infrastructure product end to end from design to improvement.
• Define project objectives and align initiatives with business goals, identify risks.
• Translate requirements into pragmatic designs addressing edge cases.
• Build secure, resilient, high-performing, and cost-efficient infrastructure.
• Develop developer-facing tooling to boost productivity and reduce toil.
• Manage infrastructure through code, primarily Terraform.
• Collaborate with product engineering for scalable services.
• Participate in incident response and systematic debugging.
• Improve monitoring and observability using operational data.
• Apply a security-first mindset and perform peer reviews.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration on architecture and priorities.
