Zusammenfassung

Jobgether, partnering with a global partner, seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer based in Austria. You will own the reliability of critical production systems, working across cloud infrastructure, observability, incident response, and deployment safety while mentoring engineers and strengthening practices.

You will define SLIs/SLOs, manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, and collaborate with product teams on production readiness in a high‑throughput environment.

Qualifikationen

• 6–10 years in SRE or production engineering with cloud focus.
• Proven end-to-end ownership from design to operation.
• Experience defining and operating SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Strong incident management and postmortem discipline.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and failures.
• Cloud fundamentals: networking, load balancers, containers, Kubernetes.
• Infra as code with Terraform or equivalent tooling.
• Programming skills in Go or Python for production software.

Aufgaben

• Own the reliability of critical production systems end to end.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Improve alert quality and reduce noise in monitoring.
• Lead high-severity incident response and postmortems.
• Design secure, resilient infrastructure with failure modes.
• Perform capacity and performance analyses and headroom planning.
• Improve deployment safety with progressive delivery and rollback.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Develop tooling to reduce operational toil.
• Conduct chaos testing and runbooks for readiness.
• Collaborate with product engineering on production readiness.
