Mercor connects elite regulatory talent with AI research labs. We seek a Regulatory Law Expert for a remote, contract engagement to design and oversee compliance programs, investigations, and enforcement responses across US and EU frameworks. You will own regulatory matters, draft filings and memoranda, and develop rubrics distinguishing professional judgment from rote recall. A JD with bar admission or international equivalent is preferred and 5+ years in major firms or regulators.

Qualificações

• 5+ years as regulatory attorney or compliance counsel at a major law firm, regulated company, or government agency.
• Direct ownership of regulatory compliance programs, agency interactions, or enforcement matters.
• Fluency in regulatory tooling, plus understanding of how administrative process and agency rulemaking work.
• A JD with bar admission or international equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design regulatory compliance programs spanning investigations and enforcement actions.
• Build and coordinate tasks across US and EU regulatory areas (financial services, healthcare, privacy, antitrust, environmental).
• Develop scenarios and reference memoranda using regulatory tracking platforms and filing systems.
• Author rubrics distinguishing authentic regulatory judgment from rote legal recall.
