You will remain hands-on with code and technical designs, while mentoring engineers and shaping a high-autonomy culture that enables rapid delivery and continuous learning.

Qualifikationen

• At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• Strong software fundamentals with a background in Clojure or frontend tech (React/TypeScript).
• Ability to read code and technical designs fluently.
• Strong product sensibilities and ability to translate requirements into engineering solutions.
• Proven ability to debug project execution and adjust as needed.
• Strong problem-decomposition skills for breaking work into increments.
• Proven decision-maker to remove blockers and ship quality software.
• Coaching and mentoring in non-traditional structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for asynchronous work.
• Ability to work with globally distributed teams and manage priorities autonomously.
• Outcome-oriented mindset with technical curiosity and focus on long-term value.

• Directly manage and support a team of engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Plan and execute the product roadmap with stakeholders.
• Coach engineers and support career development in a low-structure environment.
• Remove obstacles and improve team processes and collaboration.
• Diagnose execution challenges and adjust people, scope, or plans.
• Maintain strong technical involvement in designs, code, and proposals.
• Break initiatives into manageable components to reduce risk and enable feedback.
• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers while building a collaborative culture.
• Make decisions around execution, prioritization, and delivery.
