Jobgether is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for a remote-first role with a partner company based in Switzerland. You will design, build, and own critical backend features, work on high-scale systems, and collaborate with Product and engineering teams across distributed environments.

You will mentor others, participate in code reviews, and drive reliability and performance improvements, leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while ensuring code quality.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in distributed teams.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable backend systems.
• Own projects from problem definition through production rollout and maintenance.
• Partner with Product and engineering teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Write high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code with strong standards.
