JobCubby represents a partner company seeking an Engineering Manager based in Austria to lead a talented, fully remote, globally distributed engineering team. You’ll balance roadmap execution with technical decisions, coach engineers, hire, and drive continuous improvement in a low-structure environment while staying close to code and designs.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of engineering management experience or equivalent leadership.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering; frontend (React/TypeScript) or Clojure.
• Ability to read code and technical designs and discuss them meaningfully.
• Strong product sensibilities with ability to assess proposals and risks.
• Experience coordinating with globally distributed teams and async work.

Aufgaben

• Directly manage and support a team of engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Plan and execute the product roadmap with Product, Design, and Success partners.
• Coach engineers, support career development, and grow the team in a low-structure environment.
• Remove blockers and improve processes to increase iteration speed.
• Review designs and code to clarify requirements and mitigate risks.
