Zusammenfassung

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for a partner company based in Switzerland. You will own the Android application end-to-end, guiding architecture, performance, releases, and the mobile roadmap within a small, autonomous team.

You will mentor other engineers, collaborate with product and growth, and deliver a polished native Android experience with smooth animations while driving data-driven decisions through experimentation and A/B testing.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of native Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin skills and ability to ship high-quality Android apps.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android Views.
• Solid knowledge of Android frameworks, patterns and state management.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, Google Play Console, and Play Store deployment.
• Proficient in Android Studio, testing, debugging and performance optimization.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or guiding other engineers.
• Ability to own ambiguous problems and make independent decisions.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Product-focused mindset with data-driven decisions; Java experience and Swift/iOS seen as plus.

Aufgaben

• Own the Android application end-to-end, architecture, direction, performance, releases, and roadmap execution.
• Set the technical vision for mobile development while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Lead and mentor mobile engineers, growing their capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to shape strategy and prioritize mobile initiatives.
• Work with product and growth to improve acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
• Deliver a polished, native Android experience with smooth animations and platform-appropriate design patterns.
• Ship features rapidly within a product-led growth and A/B testing environment.
• Instrument features, analyze results, and use data to continuously improve the product.
• Own the Android app release process, including Google Play deployment and app-store optimization.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and improve stability and performance.
• Help define the future structure and capabilities of the mobile engineering function.
