Job summary

Carhartt WIP in Vienna seeks a Retail Manager (m/f/x) for Austria, Switzerland and Poland to lead and develop our multi-country retail network from the Vienna showroom. You will directly manage Store Managers, recruit, train, coach and support operations while driving sales performance and store standards.

The role requires strategic leadership, KPI-driven decision making, and strong collaboration with HR, Finance and Visual Merchandising. Travel to stores across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management across multiple sites and adapting to local/international realities.
• Strong strategic leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Direct Management of all Store Managers, including recruitment, training, coaching, daily support, operations and management.
• Define and implement strategic objectives for Store Managers in alignment with company leadership, setting qualitative and quantitative goals.
• Analyse key retail KPIs, leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategies and boost sales performance.
• Conduct field visits following company guidelines and monitor inventory results with action plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Visual Merchandising, Retail Merchandising and other departments to align efforts.
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing Carhartt WIP and building strong relationships with customers and partners.
