Job summary

Ruhrpumpen is seeking an Industrial Regional Sales Engineer to drive the industrial business across South Germany, Switzerland and Austria. You will develop strategic plans for top customers, manage distributors, and coordinate cross-functional sales efforts.

Based in the DACH region, you will travel frequently to customers, present product applications, and negotiate orders while leveraging CRM tools and internal support to deliver value. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• 5+ years’ experience selling industrial pumps.
• Knowledge of ISO/ANSI, DIN, Mag-drive, multistage, split case pumps.
• Experience using CRM for account/territory management.

Responsibilities

• Identify top potential industrial customers in the territory and define a customer plan with targets and visits.
• Call on top industrial customers regularly to grow the business across market segments.
• Proactively follow up opportunities and ensure orders meet customer needs and warranty terms.
• Maintain communications with internal stakeholders and provide viable customer solutions.
• Support enrollment of official distributors and coordinate joint visits and targets.
• Provide new pump opportunities to Inside Sales and deliver quotes to accounts and distributors.
• Travel regularly to customer sites up to 75% and maintain relationships.
