Axess, headquartered in Anif, Austria, develops access, visitor and ticketing solutions used worldwide. The QA Engineer will join a team ensuring system quality across hardware, firmware and software, and will drive AI-based test automation initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing automated test frameworks, testing end-to-end systems, and building CI/CD pipelines. The role offers remote work options by arrangement and opportunities for growth within Axess.

Formación

• Several years of experience in test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Robot Framework and Python.
• Experience testing complex hardware+software+firmware systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, pipelines and modern DevOps.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMs) and Docker is a plus.
• Strong English skills; German is optional.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain and extend automated test frameworks focused on Robot Framework and Python.
• Test complex end-to-end systems combining hardware, software and firmware.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure, etc.).
• Integrate automated tests into build and deployment processes.
• Analyze defects, logs, and system behavior in distributed architectures.
• Contribute to AI-based test automation and testing strategy.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps and product management.
