Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a Test Engineer to help build reliable digital solutions. You will combine manual testing with automation, perform API testing and contribute to CI/CD integration, while exploring AI-enhanced quality assurance across our DACH projects.

You will work with a hybrid model and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to ensure software quality and user-centric testing outcomes. German communication at C1 is valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing experience (manual and automated).
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification; Advanced level is a plus.
• Structured, precise approach with initiative and ownership.
• Experience with performance/load testing and cloud environments (OpenShift, Azure).
• Testing of event streams, message validation, ordering and idempotency; non-functional testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, perform and document manual tests with a clear focus on user needs and software quality.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated end-to-end tests across system and interface boundaries.
• Carry out interface and API tests and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to reliable delivery processes.
• Explore meaningful uses of AI in testing.
