Job summary

Freshfields Vienna seeks committed associates with a strong interest in regulatory public law and foreign direct investment. You will advise national and international clients on complex matters and support cross-border transactions within a globally connected network.

Qualifications

• Completed Austrian legal studies with above-average results.
• Excellent English and German skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical abilities and interest in regulatory developments.

Responsibilities

• Advise on regulatory public law matters amid legislative changes.
• Support regulatory aspects of transactions across industries.
• Prepare submissions and assist litigation strategy.
• Coordinate FDI filings and investment screening processes.
• Monitor regulatory/FDI developments at national and EU levels.
