Zusammenfassung

Kontron Transportation GmbH in Austria seeks a Product Manager for the MCX portfolio to define and drive the product roadmap based on business strategy and customer needs.

You will translate complex customer, operational and regulatory requirements into clear product priorities and manage lifecycle from concept to long-term maintenance, monitoring trends in FRMCS and 3GPP ecosystems.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in Product Management, System Engineering or Solution Architecture within mission-critical communications.
• Experience in mission-critical communication systems.
• Strong technical understanding of MCPTT, MCData, MCVideo, dispatching and the 3GPP Mission Critical Services ecosystem.
• Good knowledge of IMS architecture, SIP signalling and IP networking.
• Experience with railway communication systems, preferably GSM-R and/or FRMCS.
• Solid understanding of 3GPP standards and in FRMCS (a plus).
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing complex technical products.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Your tasks

• Define and execute the product roadmap for the MCX portfolio, aligned with business strategy and customer needs
• Translate customer, operational and regulatory requirements into product requirements and development priorities
• Drive product lifecycle management from concept through development, release, deployment and long-term maintenance.Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings and emerging technologies in FRMCS, 5G, IMS and mission-critical communications
• Work closely with R&D and system architects to define technical direction and ensure product competitiveness
• Ensure product compliance with applicable railway, telecom and cybersecurity requirements
• Contribute to product positioning, value propositions and go-to-market activities
• Support customer facing teams in customer workshops, technical discussions and strategic bid activities
• Represent the company in relevant railway and mission-critical standardization and industry forums where appropriate

Your qualification

We offer a competitive gross annual salary starting at EUR 70,000 per year. A higher salary commensurate with your actual qualifications and experience is possible.
