Job summary

BRP-Rotax is seeking an experienced engineer to take technical ownership of selected electrical and electronic components for our powertrain systems. You will influence the full product development cycle, coordinate with international customers and suppliers, and define system and component requirements.

You will leverage your background in electrical engineering and knowledge of vehicle networks to drive specifications, plan development activities, and support tests and validation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related technical field.
• At least 3 years in automotive/industrial role.
• Experience with E/E components and vehicle electrical systems (CAN, LIN).
• Knowledge of Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering; ASPICE/ISO 26262 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own selected E/E components for powertrain systems across development lifecycle.
• Coordinate technical topics with international customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Create, maintain and align system and component requirements specifications.
• Plan and track development activities considering quality, cost and timing.
• Coordinate prototype builds and plan, execute, and evaluate tests and validation activities.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Support release processes and assist during ramp-up of series production.
