Zusammenfassung

Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) in Villach invites motivated students to join the power electronics team for hands-on experience in research, lab setups, prototypes and test rigs. This internship is designed for bachelor to master level students enrolled at Austrian universities or universities of applied sciences.

Work alongside scientists and research engineers, contribute to paper-ready results, explore topics such as thermal management, hardware-in-the-loop, and EV charging applications.

Qualifikationen

• Must be enrolled in a natural science or technical degree programme at an Austrian university or university of applied sciences during the internship.
• Must have completed at least one semester before starting the internship.

Aufgaben

• Get hands-on experiences with state-of-the-art equipment such as rapid control prototyping and power hardware-in-the-loop setups.
• Assist in exploring topics in power electronics, thermal management, testing and characterization of devices and modules.
• Contribute to experimental work, data collection, and potential master thesis projects.
• Collaborate with SAL scientists and engineers to prepare for lab work and prototypes.
