Zusammenfassung

Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) in Graz, Austria, seeks a motivated PCB Design & Prototyping Intern to assist with hardware prototype development, including interface and breakout boards for industrial MCUs used in HIL setups.

You will collaborate with the engineering team on schematic design, PCB layout, prototype assembly, testing and validation, and document designs and test results. Ideal candidates are pursuing EE/Mechatronics with hands-on PCB experience and familiarity with KiCad or Altium.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or embedded systems.
• Hands-on PCB design experience from academic, personal, internship or professional projects.
• Understanding of schematic design principles and PCB layout fundamentals.

Aufgaben

• Design electronic schematics and PCB layouts for prototypes.
• Create multi-layer PCB designs following good engineering practices.
• Support component selection and footprint creation.
• Prepare manufacturing docs and design files.
• Assemble, solder, and debug PCB prototypes.
• Test, verify and troubleshoot electronic circuits.
• Document designs and test results for traceability.
