Zusammenfassung

Partner Company is seeking a Nature-based Solutions Analyst based in Switzerland to drive rigorous evaluation of nature-based projects. You will combine environmental science with remote sensing, carbon modelling, and market research to support client portfolios and high-integrity investments.

You will collaborate with an international team, contribute to analytical frameworks, and communicate complex findings clearly to stakeholders within a purpose-driven climate action setting.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in environmental science or related field (forestry, ecosystem restoration, carbon sequestration).
• 3–5 years of experience in due diligence, project development, assessment, or monitoring of nature-based solutions.
• Strong knowledge of nature-based carbon methodologies, verification standards, and monitoring approaches.
• Experience with remote sensing and carbon modelling to support project assessments.
• Ability to translate scientific outputs into actionable client recommendations.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Apply a Nature Analytics Framework to assess and monitor nature-based solution projects within client portfolios.
• Conduct rigorous due diligence and provide evidence-based insights for investment decisions.
• Review carbon projections and assess underlying assumptions and methodologies.
• Perform remote sensing analyses to evaluate eligibility and environmental attributes.
• Contribute to evolving Nature Analytics Framework with emerging scientific standards.
• Monitor carbon market standards and verification frameworks.
• Build knowledge on emerging approaches and maintain external networks.
• Translate findings into clear client-ready insights and recommendations.
• Support content and knowledge-sharing with innovative perspectives.
• Develop relationships with external technical advisors and project partners.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary, international teams to strengthen assessment processes.
