Wolt in Austria is seeking a Merchant Onboarding Associate to work with Partnership Managers to review and validate merchant documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with KYC/KYB and internal requirements before merchant activation.

You will onboard restaurants and retailers, update menus on the platform, provide day-to-day support, train partners on using our systems, and help maintain high service standards through regular quality checks and close collaboration with

• Approve or reject merchant cases in internal systems with clear justification.
• Communicate with merchants and internal stakeholders by phone, text, or other channels to coordinate onboarding.
• Escalate incomplete, unclear, or high-risk cases per internal procedures.
• Onboard venues into Wolt’s platform, including contracts, photography, menu, translation, and app training.
• Build relationships with restaurant/retail partners by training them on using our systems and updates.
• Ensure portfolio quality by conducting frequent checks on service standards and satisfaction.
• Manage equipment inventory.

The Merchant Onboarding Associate works in close cooperation with the Partnership Managers in order to review and validate merchant documentation and business information. Their responsibility is to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with KYC/KYB and internal requirements before merchant activation.

The Merchant Onboarding Associate is also responsible for assisting our restaurant and retail partners in onboarding their venues, ensuring their menus are updated on the platform and offering general day-to-day support.

• Review and cross-check merchant documentation (KYC/KYB, contracts, entity records) collected by the Sales team
• Approve or reject merchant cases in internal systems, with clear justification
• Communicate with merchants and internal stakeholders by phone, text, or other channels to coordinate onboarding
• Escalate incomplete, unclear, or high-risk cases per internal procedures
• Onboarding venues into Wolt’s Platform. This includes contracts, photography, menu, translation and Wolt app training.
• Building relationships with our restaurant and retail partners by training them on using our systems and keeping them up to speed on any updates
• Ensuring our portfolio of restaurants and retail shops reach the highest Wolt service standards by conducting frequent quality and satisfaction checks
• Managing equipment inventory

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. Please note, that the starting pay may vary if the candidate does not fully meet the expectations as outlined in this job posting.

The salary below is the monthly salary range for this position.
