Job summary

Global Experts recruits on behalf of a 4* hotel in Tirol, Austria, seeking a Chef de Rang. The role focuses on delivering luxury service, training junior staff, and maintaining high standards during busy service in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of the section during service.
• Assist junior team members as needed.

• Proactively welcome and greet guests and visitors to the Restaurant and the Hotel.
• Assist in restaurant setup before service and ensure stock is ready.
• Seat guests, present menus, offer drinks, and explain the menu.

• Insure in the smooth running of the section
• Assisting junior team members
• Deliverexcellent standards of service in a friendly and professional manner to our guests
• Proactively welcome and greet all guests and visitors to the Restaurant and the Hotel
• assist in the set up if the restaurant before service, ensuring all required items are stocked and ready
• seat guests offering them menus, drinks and provide explanations of the menu when required
• deal efficiently and courteously with all guest queries
• Ensure the restaurant environment is always maintained and cleaned to a high standard both during and after service
• Deliver consistent, exceptional service in line with the luxury standards
• Excellent knowledge of restaurant menus in orderto be able to offer guidance and make recommendations

The ideal candidate will:

• have a passion for all things food and beverage
• be able to help train and supervise team members ensuring they deliver consistent quality of service
• have previous experience in a similar environment
• have a strong understanding of the high standards that are demanded from a 4* and 5* establishments
• Speak German fluently
• be creative minded with a passion and respect for the provenance of food
• Relish the pressure of a busy restaurant environment
