Alstom is seeking a full-time regional Bid Director for Light Rail (f/m/d) to lead bid processes, ensure alignment with customer needs, and optimize QCD parameters. You will collaborate with Tender Leaders, Bid Managers, and support functions to shape competitive offers and drive successful outcomes across regions.

The role requires extensive experience in bid/project management, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and a track record of delivering complex bids within the rail sector.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 15-20 years of experience in project or bid management, including costing, planning, and risk management.
• Knowledge of Alstom processes, including Golden Rules and Ethics & Compliance standards.
• Proven success in managing medium to highly critical bids, preferably within Alstom.
• Strong understanding of products, systems, and financial, contractual, and legal aspects.
• Exceptional team management skills with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.

• Coordinate pre-tender activities to understand customer needs and promote Alstom’s solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, safety, and quality standards.
• Define bid strategies, analyze requirements, and address gaps to meet customer needs.
• Manage QCD optimization and secure commitments from internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain tender documentation including technical descriptions and risk registers.
• Support contract negotiations and align with customer expectations.
• Facilitate smooth transition from bid to project execution with Project Director and stakeholders.
