SQUER Solutions GmbH is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to architect and drive modern infrastructure for diverse client projects. You will lead OpenShift and Kubernetes-based platform work, shape CI/CD pipelines, and guide multi-cloud decisions in a consulting setting.

You will mentor engineers, promote quality and ownership, and contribute to a culture of innovation with AI-assisted workflows. A hybrid work model and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Strong expertise in platform architectures and OpenShift environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes-native patterns (operators, controllers, service meshes).
• Experience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure layers.
• Programming in Go, Python, or TypeScript is a bonus.
• Solid consulting experience and empowering teams.
• Active use of AI-powered tools or willingness to start.
• Committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Fluent in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Tackle platform challenges with OpenShift and Kubernetes (on-prem, hybrid, or cloud-native).
• Design and implement robust infrastructure with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Integrate with enterprise systems: API gateways, security layers, monitoring, SSO.
• Guide infrastructure decisions across clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP – or on-premise).
• Actively shape SQUER culture and projects through technical leadership and open collaboration.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a mindset of quality, ownership, and innovation.
