Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Labour and Employee Relations Specialist to lead complex ER matters across Austria, Switzerland and Poland. You will support the People Partner Team with legally sound, practical and business-aligned outcomes.

This role is based in Austria with significant travel across covered countries and requires fluency in English. You will collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Global ER to ensure compliant risk management.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or related field.
• Several years of labor & employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Austrian labor law, works councils and labor unions.
• Experience with multi-country reorganisations and transformation programmes.
• Willingness to travel to sites across covered countries.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert ER support with consultation and negotiation with employee bodies across assigned regions.
• Lead investigations and performance management processes; support disciplinary actions and grievances.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Global ER to ensure compliant, defensible outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement of ER policies, playbooks, templates and case insights.
• Act as escalation point for complex, high-risk ER matters within the operating model.
