Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Labour and Employee Relations Specialist (LER) to lead complex ER matters across Austria, Switzerland, and Poland. You will support the People Partner Team and HR leaders with legally sound, business‑oriented outcomes while coordinating with global ER functions.

The role requires strong knowledge of Austrian labour law, experience with works councils and unions, and the ability to travel to covered sites. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Labor & Employee Relations across international contexts.
• Knowledge of Austrian labor law, works councils and unions.
• Experience supporting reorganisations or major change programmes in a multi-country setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert ER support by coordinating consultation and negotiation with employee representatives.
• Guide partners in multi-country consultation processes and prepare required documentation.
• Lead reorganisations, restructurings and transformations with compliant outcomes.
• Oversee complex workplace investigations and performance management with managers and Legal/Compliance.
• Act as escalation point within ER operating model and drive policy improvements.
