Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Labour and Employee Relations Specialist (LER) to lead complex labour and employee relations matters across Austria, Switzerland and Poland. The role supports the People Partner team with legally sound, business-aligned outcomes while travel is required.

You will collaborate with HR Partners, Legal and Compliance to safeguard trust and ensure compliance during transformations and day-to-day operations, driving continuous improvement in ER processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or related field.
• Multiple years of progressive Labor & Employee Relations experience in a multinational organization.
• In-depth knowledge Austrian labor law and works council procedures.
• Experience supporting reorganisations, transformations across several European countries.
• Ability to travel to sites for in-person employee support.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on complex employee and labour relations matters.
• Lead negotiation with employee representative bodies across the region.
• Support reorganisations, restructurings and transformation initiatives.
• Lead workplace investigations and performance management processes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, HR and Centres of Excellence to ensure compliant outcomes.
