Zusammenfassung

UBIMET GmbH in Vienna is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to evolve our Linux-based infrastructure, focusing on automation, containerization, and modern deployment practices to ensure reliability and scalability behind our weather services.

You will migrate VM stacks to containerized environments with Podman and Kubernetes, implement GitOps, and advance CI/CD pipelines while documenting configurations and training the team.

Qualifikationen

Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Debian flavors preferred).
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Podman and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes in a high-availability environment.
Experience with on-prem infrastructure and self-managed k8s clusters.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
Ability to document knowledge in Confluence and work in a team.
Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

Lead migration of VM stack to containerized environments using Podman and Kubernetes.
Design, implement, and manage automation processes for infrastructure (GitOps).
