Platogo Interactive Entertainment GmbH in Vienna is seeking a Kubernetes-focused DevOps engineer to design, implement and manage containerized infrastructure on Kubernetes and AWS.

You will collaborate with our Ruby/Elixir backend team to containerize applications, optimize cluster performance and cost-efficiency, and implement monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus. You will also help automate deployments with Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Pulumi while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or DevOps role.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Linux architecture and administration.
• Independent, precise, and well-organized work style.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement and manage infrastructure with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Collaborate with backend team to containerize apps and deploy on Kubernetes.
• Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Grafana/Prometheus.
• Ensure security by following best practices and controls.
• Automate deployments using Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Pulumi.
• Maintain service communication using Linkerd.
• Integrate dependencies like RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Snowflake, DynamoDB.
• Help plan and deploy internal tools.
• Tackle challenges of an established, growing project.
