Zusammenfassung

Netcup is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) in Austria to operate, extend, and automate the full technology stack—from physical infrastructure to Kubernetes and deployment infrastructure (CI/CD). You will apply modern workflows to focus on high-impact work and collaborate with the CTO and Chief Solution Architect.

The role requires deep Linux expertise, strong Kubernetes experience, and a security-conscious, self-driven approach.

Qualifikationen

Deep Linux expertise and distributed systems know-how.
Solid Kubernetes architecture, operations, and troubleshooting.
Networking knowledge: routing, switching, VLANs, BGP.
Infrastructure as code with Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD.
GitOps mindset and CI/CD architecture experience.
Security, high availability, and resilience awareness.
Excellent German and English skills, written and spoken.
Strong communication and structured, self-driven work style.

Aufgaben

Ensure platform stability through monitoring and proactive troubleshooting.
Build automation for operating and deploying platform components.
Monitor security and currency of software components and report risks.
Develop technical concepts for new platform requirements.
Document infrastructure setup and automation solutions.
Support development teams using automation solutions.
