Platogo Interactive Entertainment GmbH in Vienna is seeking a Kubernetes-focused DevOps engineer to design, implement and manage containerized infrastructure on Kubernetes and AWS.

You will collaborate with our Ruby/Elixir backend team to containerize applications, optimize cluster performance and cost-efficiency, and implement monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus. You will also help automate deployments with Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Pulumi while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or DevOps role.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Linux architecture and administration.
• Independent, precise, and well-organized work style.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Your tasks

• Design, implement and manage infrastructure with Kubernetes and AWS

• Ensure the security of our environments by following best practices and implementing security controls


• Automate Kubernetes deployment and management processes using Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Pulumi


• Maintain service communication using Linkerd


• Integrate application dependencies like RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Snowflake, DynamoDB


• Help plan and take ownership of deploying and maintaining our internal tools


• Deal with the challenges of an established and continuously growing project

Your profile

• Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or similar role (e.g. DevOps engineer with Kubernetes focus)


• Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs


• Strong knowledge of Linux architecture and administration
