Trever GmbH in Graz seeks a Cloud Engineer to own our AWS environment, manage EKS clusters, and drive cost and performance optimization for our fintech products.

You will lead database tuning for PostgreSQL/RDS, strengthen security with IAM and VPC controls, and champion observability with Grafana and Prometheus while collaborating across teams.

The role offers a hybrid work setup in Graz with growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Cloud Engineering with a deep focus on AWS.
• Experience managing Terraform state and modular infrastructure.
• Battle-tested Kubernetes (EKS) experience including networking and Helm.
• Strong observability skills with Grafana and Prometheus.
• DB tuning, migrations, and high-availability planning for PostgreSQL/RDS.
• Automation mindset with scripting (Go, Python, or Bash) and CI/CD (GitLab CI).

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of AWS infrastructure using Terraform to keep it modular and secure.
• Manage and evolve Amazon EKS clusters to ensure reliability and high availability.
• Identify AWS cost waste and optimize resources without impacting performance.
• Lead PostgreSQL/RDS tuning, backups, and high-availability architecture.
• Master Grafana and Prometheus for deep observability and proactive alerting.
• Implement security best practices (IAM, VPC, encryption) across the stack.
